Cheri Flewell-Smith is an award-winning designer, educator and pracademic based in Sydney, Australia. She is a Senior Lecturer in Design and Creative Technology at Torrens University Australia, working across communication design, branding, advertising, design thinking and emerging technologies. Her practice sits at the intersection of creativity, culture and commerce. She is the founder of GOOD DEEDS LAB, a creative platform exploring where art, design, sustainability and technology collide, and WIDEN (Women in Design Education Network), supporting and elevating women in design education. Cheri has published her experiences as a pracademic and shared her thinking internationally, including speaking at Tokyo Design Matters, appearing on a panel at VIVID Sydney, exhibiting at the World Design Congress in London and contributing to the Social Enterprise World Forum. Her creative work has been stocked worldwide, and her teaching has received national recognition, including the ACUADS Excellence in Teaching Award and a high commendation for Excellence in Innovation from ATEM.
