Rooted in Taiwan’s harbor culture, this design weaves sea breeze and the rhythm of port life into the patterns of the glass, creating an atmosphere that flows like the ocean—fluid yet serene.
As beer is poured into the glass, the totems shift with the rising liquid level. Gradually, the hidden Chinese characters (sea), (harbor), and (wave) emerge from within the design.
The composition mirrors the vast ocean itself. As the glass fills to the brim, the once-surging imagery settles, returning to a tranquil harbor scene—when the waves subside and the sea becomes calm.
The design integrates impressions of Taiwan’s harbors into the structure of traditional Chinese characters, forming a cohesive visual series of patterns and motifs. Through the rhythm and layering of brushstrokes, it conveys the vastness of the sea, the sense of belonging found in the harbor, and the motion of the waves—transforming each glass into a sensory vessel that carries the spirit of Taiwan’s maritime culture.
