Project Website

The overall design is built around the concept of an "awakening of inner energy ",drawing inspiration from the aesthetics of black-and-white manga. It reads like a story grounded in reality—sharp lines, fast pacing and emotions condensed into tightly framed panels. These monochrome pages symbolize the outer shell formed through growing up: composed, rational, shaped by circumstance, and carrying the weight of one’s surroundings.

As the work unfolds layer by layer toward its center, the visual shift into saturated, warm, and pulsating colors, as if a long-sealed impulse is breaking through the surface. This outward-to-inward progression mirrors the "primal heart "—the unpolished instinct within each person, the most primal response to the world,and the force that continues to burn even under the pressure of reality. Through changes in material, tone and spatial composition, the project visualizes this movement from restraint to eruption, from muted to incandescent, turning the album into a journey of rediscovering one’s core self.
