IWAI KAMOSHI-SPARKLING No.1 - 3 is the first sparkling wine from Iwasaki Jozo, a Japanese winery established in 1941. We have created three different sparkling wines in various stages, including a basic Koshu wine that uses the ancient brewing technique of Katsunuma. The design is based on the appearance of a flat, multi-colored woodblock print, reminiscent of Ukiyo-e woodblock prints, combined with pop colors that reflect the European culture of wine. The goal was to make Japanese wine more widely and unite Japan's regional characteristics with the Western culture of wine. To symbolize "Japanese wine," we used colorful illustrations of vineyards in the image of the village of Iwai Village, the birthplace of Japanese wine. When the three bottles are placed side by side, they form a single landscape, considered a single work of art with continuity.
