'I Won't Forget' is an archival interplay of autobiographical memories and music listening. It is an ever-growing series of personalized cover art inspired by songs that instantly transport friends and strangers to spaces of emotional significance in their pasts. It materializes these recollections as mementos of said spaces for the future. This is achieved through 2 distinct outputs—a ‘memory box’ etched with visual signifiers translated from each memory i.e. a tangible token of lost spaces and time and the cover artwork whose design is tied to its corresponding box. The hope is that audiences may be led down their own memory lanes upon confronting these artifacts— artifacts that serve as points of departure fostering countless further reimaginings.
