The world's leading trade fair and conference for electronics is a lot of things, but relaxing is not one of them. When Velocity Electronics approached The Molo Group to design their booth for electronica 2022, they wanted their little slice of Trade Fair Center Messe München to be an oasis. With 2,100 exhibitors, the booth needed to stand out against the competition. And with 70,000 guests expected, we needed additional ways to attract attention.

We created a three-dimensional graphic design for a two-level conference booth with a welcome desk, bar, meeting rooms, video screens, and comfortable waiting areas. Wayfinding signage incorporated Velocity's signature arrow and brand colors to attract attention from the outside and direct guests to their desired locations once inside. In addition, we designed a relaxation-themed ad and Velocity’s cover for the widely-distributed electronica edition of Electronic Sourcing, all of which attracted significant attention.

The tagline, "Relax… we've got you," became the overarching theme. Electronica is a stressful event for exhibitors and attendees, and there are few places to take a break. Additionally, those in the electronics and semiconductor industries faced unprecedented supply chain challenges in the 2 ½ years leading up to the conference. The booth became a place to both enjoy a short break and build a valuable business partner to help them relax through supply chain uncertainty.
