SHIBUYA CITY RECORD is a digital archive of the documents preserved by the Shibuya Ward office, digitized and published to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the establishment of Tokyo's Special Ward system.

The logo references the kanji character of "Shibu (渋)" for Shibuya and abstracts it into a cluster of geometric shapes, expressing infinite possibilities. The yellow color represents the city's shining lights, while the blue represents the bright sky above Shibuya. Together they represent the positive energy that fills the city.

The logo can be rearranged into any configuration, reflecting the constantly evolving city of Shibuya.

As the symbol of flexible transformation over time, the logo aligns with the dynamically changing city, expressing the energy within Shibuya.
