Keymer is an internationally renowned handmade tile company dating back over 500 years, with their products in use on Windsor Castle and many historical and contemporary buildings.
Think worked closely with the team at Keymer and their parent company Wienerberger to created a new brand strategy, positioning and identity.
The result is a contemporary take on a traditional product utilising a brand essence and toolbox that was born from the business' rich craftsmanship heritage.
The Keymer brand is inspired by its handmade products. A beautifully handcrafted logotype design integrates Keymer’s tile shapes, to inspire, influence and create a brand-new British typeface and logotype for them to use into the next decade.
The toolbox included a sector defying colour palette, stunning 'real' photography, a modern take on technical specification drawings that were animated, and an unapologetically British typographic style - the brand oozes the missing ‘high-end product’ feel.
The brand collateral works across all media, and is designed to help Keymer remain at the top of their sector, appealing to heritage and contemporary developments; and ultimately help create a new British History.
