The past 3 years have been a year of stress and fear for all Asians alike. With a horrific and heartbreaking surge in violence against Asians and Pacific Islander worldwide. There is an unprecedented level of attention towards ‘Stop Asian Hate’. Racism is a deadly virus and silence is not an option. Many people want to help but are not sure what they can do. We don’t know how to make the first step and we don’t know how to make a difference. We are struggling to move beyond saying “#Stop asian hate” towards making actionable impacts. Then as the initial strong emotions fade away, nothing changes until we hear the next shocking incident. The same pattern repeats again and again. How can we break the dead loop, mobilize all community members to take action?
Aguard is a one-stop platform that connects community members, especially senior people who need help, and younger people who are encouraged to support others.
Aguard is an easy and simple way to help seniors/mature community members, support their well-being, and involve all community members to take immediate actions against racism.
With rising involvement, we will collectively make bigger changes and a safer place in this world.
