This project started with the desire to let more people enjoy the strawberries from Miyagi Prefecture in Japan, which boasts the highest production in the Tohoku region. It proposed a new souvenir sweet for Sendai City in Miyagi
Prefecture, that is sustainably conscious by efficiently utilizing strawberries that are too irregular to be displayed for sale, thus ensuring no waste.
The brand development centers around a story that makes strawberries resemble sparkling minerals, set in the mysterious "Akairo Kozan" mine known for harvesting these delicious 'minerals'.
The desserts, layered in a jar like geological strata, are named 'Stratum Cake', and the strawberry daifuku with a rugged surface topped with a bright red strawberry is termed 'Specimen Daifuku'. These designs are crafted to immerse viewers in this world, thoughtfully put into the visuals.
