Identity, system, and poster design for the exhibition titled "Posters from the Odesa City Letters Project" to mark the second anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Organized by Lee Davis, Co-Director, MICA Center for Social Design and curated by Alexander Tochilovsky , Director of the Herb Lubalin Study Center of Design and Typography at The Cooper Union.
Typefaces specifically designed by Ukranian type designers and ‘e-Ukraine’-the official typeface of the Ukraine government were used in the posters for both the identity and the copy. The exhibit marks the second anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. First on display at The Cooper Union in New York, the exhibit included a selection of posters celebrating Ukrainian culture, design, and typography - and courage in the face of Russian aggression. The exhibits were on display in the MICA Brown Center (3rd Floor gallery) and downtown at the Center for Architecture and Design from February 19 - March 15 in Baltimore.
