WarhoLens is a mixed reality experience concept designed for the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. Through this experience, visitors in the museum go through the exhibits with smart AR glass and engage in various multi-sensory, immersive experiences to better understand the art and the artist. Through an art-appreciation framework, 4 different experiences were designed to help visitors understand the artist and his personality over the years, provide more context to understand famous pieces of art work, and understand the techniques employed that were pivotal to the artist's career. With a closing interaction that provokes self-reflection, the WarhoLens is a well-rounded experience for art comprehension and appreciation.
