The scope of the project was to create an easy-to-use interface that ensures no former cancer patient feels intimidated or intruded upon, UpBEAT serves as a virtual guide during the delicate period following cancer treatment, when all signs of the disease have left the body but when, according to key research, the patient is also left feeling alone and rudderless in their new situation. Our contributions include the entire design for the UI and UX of the project - all of which has to be easy to use yet fulfil the a tricky brief that required users of any age to be able to operate the application successfully.
