The Seattle Frontrunners (SFR) Seattle Frontrunners is a running and walking club for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. The SFR has recommitted themselves to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The next chapter of the club’s journey will be built on their core values to be welcoming, genuine, inclusive, positive, and community oriented. To accompany this new chapter, ConceptShell was engaged to lead the SFR in creating a new look.

This new SFR logo was inspired by Gilbert Baker’s original ‘rainbow flag.’ Together as a group, it was important to incorporate because each color was assigned a specific meaning: red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, blue for serenity, and purple for spirit. The logo emanates movement - the activity that brings the Seattle Frontrunners all together AND their commitment to navigating toward a more welcoming and inclusive future - while grounding the organization in the city we all call home.

The Seattle Frontrunners welcomes all participants of every athletic ability, race, color, age, sex, gender identity, religion, national origin, disability, or sexual orientation at our frequent meetups in the Seattle area. They’re continuing to grow and approaching their 37th anniversary with now 500+ members!
